Round buttoned ottoman
SR-2026-068 · Furniture · Ottoman · September 2026
Twelve round ottomans — a buttoned upholstery product, where the buttons and the seam alignment are the visible quality signal.
Receiving photographs

Photographs taken at our consolidation warehouse as the lot was received and checked. Container numbers, shipping labels, supplier marks and brand markings are masked; the lot is shown as it arrived, not restyled.
How this order was run
- Placed the order against the same finish and the same board or fabric family the client had bought before, so a reorder would match the previous lot.
- Recorded the finish code, the dye lot and the carton specification against the order file — that record is what makes the next reorder a repeat instead of a new development.
- Inspected the incoming lot against the previous shipment's photographs, not only against the approved sample.
What was checked at receiving
This is the ottoman check sheet — the same list every order in this category goes through before the container is released.
- Frame joints checked under load, with corner blocks and glue lines inspected
- Foam density and seat height measured against the approved sample — foam is where a quote is quietly made cheaper
- Fabric inspected on the roll for dye-lot consistency before cutting, and the lot reference recorded against the order
- Every unit in the inspection set sat on and rocked; squeaks and loose joints recorded on the spot
- Upholstery seams, piping and stitch pitch compared against the approved sample photographs
- Feet and glides fitted and thread-checked — a missing glide is a claim on arrival
How it was packed
- Corner foam and a full carton liner; upholstery marks are permanent
- Legs or feet packed loose in the same carton and taped, so the unit travels at its shortest
- Units stacked no more than the factory's rated number per pallet
- Cartons strapped as blocks on the pallet rather than loose-stacked
The note
Seating fails on foam and on fabric. Both are invisible in a photograph and both are cut first when a supplier needs to hit a price — so the sample has to be measured, not looked at.
It is why seating is quoted against a measured sample rather than a description: foam density and fabric weight are the two numbers a buyer cannot see and a supplier can quietly move.
