Wall sconces, 8 in, 110–120 V
SR-2026-074 · Lighting · Wall sconces · October 2026
Sixty-four wall sconces — the largest single lighting line in this batch, and the one where the electrical build had to be right on every unit rather than on a sample.
Receiving photographs

Photographs taken at our consolidation warehouse as the lot was received and checked. Container numbers, shipping labels, supplier marks and brand markings are masked; the lot is shown as it arrived, not restyled.
How this order was run
- Placed the order against the same finish and the same board or fabric family the client had bought before, so a reorder would match the previous lot.
- Recorded the finish code, the dye lot and the carton specification against the order file — that record is what makes the next reorder a repeat instead of a new development.
- Inspected the incoming lot against the previous shipment's photographs, not only against the approved sample.
What was checked at receiving
This is the wall sconces check sheet — the same list every order in this category goes through before the container is released.
- Every unit in the inspection set powered and run at the destination voltage, not at 220 V and assumed
- Lamp holder, wiring gauge, earthing and plug type checked against the destination market standard
- Finish inspected for plating runs and for colour variation between components of the same fixture
- Glass and shades inspected for chips at the rim and test-fitted on the holder before boxing
- Lead length, switch position and fitting type confirmed against the destination market's expectation
How it was packed
- Moulded foam or honeycomb insert per fixture, with glass and shades boxed separately where the shape allows
- Corner drop test per lot — glass is what breaks, not the metal
- Fixtures of the same model strapped as a block, not loose
- Carton marked with model, voltage and quantity for the receiving warehouse
The note
Lighting fails on the electrical check and on glass. Both are settled before the container closes — after that, a fixture that does not light is a return, not a repair.
It is why lighting is inspected powered, at the destination voltage, with the glass test-fitted — a fixture is either right on arrival or it is a return, because there is no field repair in this category.
