About
Hotel FF&E lighting and case goods
Hospitality · Zhongshan + Foshan
An FF&E package that had to look like one project: lobby statement pieces, guest-room layers, F&B lighting, and the furniture beside them.
The brief
A hotel opening with a second-phase corridor still on drawings. Finish had to match across phases, bathrooms needed wet-rated fixtures, and furniture had to sit next to the lighting without a second supplier relationship.
What we did
- Split the list by belt: decorative and wet-rated lighting from Zhongshan, case goods from Foshan, one QC plan covering both.
- Locked finish codes, dye lots and plating references against the first production run so phase two could be reordered rather than approximated.
- Ran a production sample of the guest-room pendant and the nightstand together, under the same light, before bulk started.
- Consolidated both factories into one shipment and one document set timed to the install window.
What changed
- Phase-one rooms handed over with lighting and furniture from a single accountable desk.
- Phase-two corridor fixtures ordered later against the same finish record — no near-match.
- One 40HQ instead of two LCL shipments; one customs entry.
What this taught. Hospitality work fails on finish continuity, not on the first unit looking good. Record the sample; do not trust a photograph two years later.
Method, not a guarantee. See how we work and what the reports look like.
